We are located in North East, Pennsylvania, on the shores of Lake Erie, about 16 miles east of Erie. We are blessed to have a panoramic view of the lakefront, immediately adjacent to North East Marina, and some of the deepest beach in this area. Our mission is to provide a haven for those seeking some time to quietly meditate on life, as well as those visiting family or seeking ready access to recreational opportunities. We offer a range of breakfast fare, from hearty to light.

We are small and cozy: two rooms with baths, in addition to a two-bedroom apartment with living room, kitchen, bath, and deck. The lake, beach, and marina offer boating, fishing, dining at the Crazy Parrot restaurant, and slow walks for relaxation. We are located near excellent flat roads for bicycling. Click on the helicopter to see Light on the Lake from the air. Winter brings ample opportunity for visitors to enjoy our famous “lake effect” snow. Cross country and downhill skiing are both available nearby – as well as backcountry snowshoeing. Smoking is allowed outside, but not inside our home. We do not allow guests' pets, although two cats do live on the premises. Meet Bella! Accommodations are not suitable for children under 12 years of age.
